How to create a Zendesk ticket from every Teams meeting

Client calls, onboarding sessions and change reviews happen in Teams, but the record of what was agreed has to live in Zendesk. AI Meeting Notetaker emails each meeting's summary, action items and full transcript to your Zendesk email-to-ticket address, so a ticket appears automatically — nobody copies notes across.

The problem

What people run into

  • Someone has to remember to write up the call and paste it into Zendesk
  • Teams' own recap needs a Copilot or Teams Premium license per person
  • Power Automate flows for transcripts are fragile and need Premium connectors
  • MSPs need the same thing for every client, without per-seat licenses

With AI Meeting Notetaker

  • Works from the recording Teams already saves — no Graph setup
  • Full transcript (.docx + .txt), summary and action items
  • Automatic after every recorded meeting — nobody copies anything
  • No Copilot or Teams Premium license, no bot in the call

Step by step

How to set it up (about a minute)

  1. 1Sign in to AI Meeting Notetaker with your Microsoft account — 2 clicks, no admin consent.
  2. 2Open Integrations → Zendesk.
  3. 3In Zendesk: Admin Center → Channels → Email ([email protected] works). Copy the address that creates tickets.
  4. 4Paste it into AI Meeting Notetaker and click Connect.
  5. 5Click Send test — a ticket titled "Meeting notes: …" should appear within a minute.
  6. 6Done. Every recorded Teams meeting is delivered automatically from now on.

Most helpdesks match the sender to a contact. Add [email protected] as a contact or allowed sender so tickets aren't filed under "unknown user".

FAQ

Zendesk: common questions

Does it work with Zendesk's email-to-ticket address?+

Yes. We send a normal email — subject "Meeting notes: <meeting> (<date>)", the summary and action items in the body, the transcript attached as .docx and .txt — to the address that creates tickets in Zendesk.

Why is the ticket filed under an unknown user?+

Zendesk matches the sender to a contact. Add [email protected] as a contact or allowed sender and tickets are filed correctly.

Can I send different clients' meetings to different queues?+

Yes — connect as many addresses as you need, and each organizer's meetings go to the addresses they connect.

Do I need Microsoft Copilot or Teams Premium?+

No. We transcribe and summarize the recording ourselves, so no Copilot or Teams Premium license is needed — only Teams meeting recording turned on.

Does a bot join my meetings?+

No. Nothing joins the call. We read the recording Teams saves to the organizer's OneDrive after the meeting.

How much does it cost?+

Your first 5 meetings are free (your 3 latest recordings and your next 2 meetings). After that it's $0.99 per meeting on a monthly plan of 10, 30 or 90 meetings — every integration is included.
